A Setting That Supports Your Practice
We gather in Mount Sequoyah Hall a warm, light-filled space with beautiful wooden floors and tall windows that welcome the golden hues of evening light.
When weather allows and the group feels called, we will practice outdoors on the grass or at the Mount Sequoyah overlook, letting the fresh air and open sky deepen our breath and expand our perspective

Location & Setting
There is something quietly meaningful about teaching here. This place holds a personal vision I’ve carried for years. My son’s name is Sequoyah, and for as long as I’ve practiced Qigong and Tai Chi in Fayetteville, I’ve dreamed of offering this work in this space.
Now that dream is a reality!

This Session:
The Wisdom of the Bear
This late summer series features The Bear, a traditional Dao Yin form inspired by one of the Five Animal practices.
In Chinese medicine, late summer is associated with the Earth element—the season of nourishment, stability, and returning to center. The Bear embodies these qualities through slow, grounded movements that cultivate relaxed strength, balance, and steady presence.
Throughout the series, you'll explore movements that gently strengthen the body while developing greater awareness of breath, posture, and whole-body coordination.
Returning students will continue to deepen the principles they've already learned, while new students will discover an accessible practice that meets them exactly where they are.

This Series Is For You If You Are Ready To…

Return to your center and cultivate a steady foundation for every season of life.
-
Slow down and reconnect with what truly nourishes you.
-
