Spring Qigong on Mount Sequoyah

An 8-Week Qigong Series for Balance, Resilience & Vital Life Force

Fayetteville, AR

Live at Sequoyah Hall & the Mount Sequoyah Overlook

Move With the Season. Awaken Your Qi.

Spring is the season of the Wood Element, the energy of new growth, clarity of direction, rooted expansion, and creative emergence. In this series, we harness that intelligence to invite resilience, clear energy, and steady forward movement into your life.

This is more than gentle movement. This is a pathway toward:

  • Stress relief and nervous system regulation

  • Creative clarity and aligned action

  • Connection with yourself, others, and nature

  • Longevity, balance, and inner harmony

Qigong is a time-tested practice of mindful breath, flowing movement, and subtle awareness. It is appropriate for beginners and enriching for advanced practitioners alike.

A Setting That Supports Your Practice

We gather in Mount Sequoyah Hall a warm, light-filled space with beautiful wooden floors and tall windows that welcome the golden hues of evening light.

When weather allows and the group feels called, we will practice outdoors on the grass or at the Mount Sequoyah overlook, letting the fresh air and open sky deepen our breath and expand our perspective

Location & Setting

There is something quietly meaningful about teaching here. This place holds a personal vision I’ve carried for years. My son’s name is Sequoyah, and for as long as I’ve practiced Qigong and Tai Chi in Fayetteville, I’ve dreamed of offering this work in this space.

Now that dream is a reality!

Series Format

This practice is most powerful when experienced over time. For that reason, we’ve designed this as an 8-week series:

  • 8 Weekly Sessions — to build depth, safety, and embodied familiarity

  • Drop-In Opportunities — available for Session 1 and Session 4 only, so new students can experience the energy of the group while preserving continuity

  • Discounted Series Pass — encouraged for full participation and deeper transformation

Adults only
Tickets sold on Eventbrite.

Select your ticket type carefully: 8-Week Series or Drop-In (Session 1 or 4)

The Awakening Dragon Form

Throughout this series, we will learn and embody the Awakening Dragon form — a sequence that stirs creative life force, harmonizes Wood energy, and moves stagnant Qi into circulation. For beginners, this form is accessible and clears out old stuck energy; for experienced practitioners, it deepens connection, presence, and skill

This Series Is For You If You Are Ready To…

  • Become the kind of person who keeps promises to yourself.

  • Strengthen your nervous system instead of running on adrenaline.

  • Move your body in a way that builds resilience rather than depletes it.

  • Transform stress into clarity and forward momentum.

  • Practice consistently enough to actually experience change.

  • Say yes to something that stretches you — literally and energetically.

  • Go up the mountain and embody the life you want to live.

You understand that change does not happen by thinking about it.

It happens by practicing. The Wood element teaches us that growth requires direction.

The Fire element reminds us that momentum requires fuel.

This series offers both a grounded structure and an awakened life force.

You are not here to shrink.
You are here to grow roots and rise.

If something inside you knows that now is the time, trust that.
